The Greek-Irish Society is about connecting people, sharing our culture and having a laugh. It's open to everyone - Greek, Irish or any other nationality!
What we do
Events and meet-ups
A series of events is held from September to June, including table quizzes, walks, lectures, taverna nights, a family Christmas lunch, a New Year’s pita cutting, an annual tour. The highlight of the society’s year is the annual St Patrick’s Day Ball, held on or around March 17.
Volunteering and charity support
Each year, members nominate various charities that they would like to support with donations from the society and volunteer work. We’re proud to partner with local charities here in Greece and back home in Ireland.
