Greek-Irish Day at the Races

The Greek-Irish Society will be hosting another day at the races at Markopoulou Race Track on Sunday, 15 September 2019 (with the first race starting at 18.00).Members are invited to watch the races from the 5th floor bar and restaurant and cheer on all the Irish-bred horses. Entry is free and those who decide to bet may even leave richer! (Note from GIS Lawyer: Betting is risky activity and may also lead to losses).For those too young to bet, there will a wide range of children's activities including pony rides, alpacas, face-painting and a bouncy castle.As last year, prizes will be given for the most stylish ladies' hats and men's shirts!Please accept the Facebook invitation on our FB page if you plan to attend or email the society.We look forward to seeing you all on 15th September!
